SYSTEM, METHOD AND DEVICES FOR INTEGRATION OF DISTRIBUTED APPLICATION

The invention relates to providing and controlling an interaction among distributed heterogeneous applications. An application integration system is proposed that includes an Information Switching Network (IS-Net), and a set of a logical adaptor means (IS-Stack) providing a compatibility of the distributed applications with the Information Switching Network. The Information Switching Network organizes the interaction between the distributed applications by switching messages among them, and is characterized by determinative for all of the permissible interactions between the applications a Global Switching Table (GST), each entry of which allows to determine univocally the address of an application-receiver for the address of an application-sender, wherein the application-sender address is specified by the application-sender within the message directly. Nodes of the Information Switching Network are networked switched devices referred as the Information Flow Switching Unit (IFSU), each holds its corresponding portion of the GST in the form of a Local Switching Table (LST) and performs the message switching independently, on the basis of own LST only. When switching the message over the Information Switching Network, its interim buffering is performed within the Information Flow Switching Unit, and Information Switching Network gives out the message to the application-receiver upon receiving a request from it only. The Information Switching Network comprises a Control System (CS), which is arranged to manage the interaction between the distributed applications by means of modifying the GST pattern and replicating made alterations onto LST of the respective Information Flow Switching Units. One fundamental result is that the distributed applications being initiators of the interaction are segregated to the limit from direct organizing this interaction that provides flexibility and scalability in managing the interaction between the distributed applications.
