FIELD: measuring technique. ^ SUBSTANCE: method can be used in heat tests process of high voltage transformers. Surface of voltage transformers is conventionally divided to equal parts and temperature of any part is measured by means of infra-red imager. Then heat flux of any part is calculated and total heat flux is determined on the base of calculations, which heat flux characterizes heat losses in magnetic circuit, which heat flux determines meaning of error of measurement. ^ EFFECT: improved truth of measurement.
