<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a typing input device which is available in an arbitrary place for inputting characters with a sense of feeling similar to the input of characters by typing being the characteristics of an existing keyboard. <P>SOLUTION: This typing input device is provided with: a camera mounted on the wrist of a user to photograph the finger of the user; a sensor mounted on the arm of the user to recognize the inclination of the backward and forward and right and left directions of the arm of the user; and an information processor for detecting the position of the hand of the user by the inclination sensor, and for deciding typing keys, detecting the position of the fingertip of the user from an image photographed by the camera and detecting the typing operation based on the detected position of the hand and the detected position of the fingertip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
