<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency modulation device having a simple configuration with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The frequency modulation device 100 is provided with a synthesizer 101, a differentiator 102, a summer 103, an input data operation unit 104, and an integer part data delay unit 105. The differentiator 102 differentiates phase modulation data and generates differential phase modulating data. The summer 103 adds a fraction K of carrier frequency data to the differential phase modulating data, and generates summing a fraction K1. The input data operation unit 104 generates an integer part input data M1 and a fraction input data K2 in response to the summing fraction K1 and an integer part M of the carrier frequency data, and gives a fraction input data K2 to the synthesizer 101. The integer part data delay unit 105 delays the integer part input data M1 to be given to the synthesizer 101. If the input data operation unit 104 has a relation of K1<0, then there are established relations of M1=M-1 and K2=K1+1, if it has a relation of 0≤K1<1, then there are established relations of M1=M, K2=K1, and if it has a relation of 1≤K1, then there are established relations of M1=M+1 and K2=K1-1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
