<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and rapidly conduct an operation jumping to the place of a reproduction desired by a user. <P>SOLUTION: The reproduction total time of an image stored in a regeneration medium by a time-information reading section 26 is detected. The reproduction total time is divided into ten by a time-information division processing section 27. Number keys (ten keys) for a remote controller 30 selecting channels are allocated successively to one or ten divided time regions.
