<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably remove adhered substances from an inner wall surface of a catheter by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The rear end part of a wire 1 is connected to an ultrasonic oscillator 8, and the front end part 11 of the wire 1 is inserted in a catheter holder 3 through a catheter attachment part 31. Then, a rubber stopper 34 is attached to the catheter attachment part 31. A washing liquid 4 is supplied to the catheter holder 3 through a washing liquid introducing part 33, and the wire 1 is fed in the catheter 2. The wire 1 is vertically vibrated by the ultrasonic oscillator 8. As a result, vibrational energy is delivered to the entire catheter 2, and the adhering substances are released and removed from the inner wall surface 2a of the catheter 2 and are washed away from the catheter 2 with the washing liquid 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
