<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna capable of ensuring the bandwidth of a high-order frequency without deteriorating a standing-wave ratio, and to provide an antenna mounting structure and a communication device. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna is provided with a dielectric base 2, an antenna element 3, and a mounting electrode 4. The antenna element 3 is configured with a radiation electrode 5, a feeding electrode 6 and an auxiliary electrode 7. The radiation electrode 5 is configured with an electrode 50 formed by two slits S1, S2 and branch electrodes 51, 52. Also, the auxiliary electrode 7 is formed on a mounting surface 22 with it led out from the feeding electrode 6 by a predetermined width. In this way, the cut depths t1, t2 of the slits S1, S2 are reduced to vary capacitances C1, C2 and C3 between the electrodes 50, 51 and 52 and the auxiliary electrode 7 while maintaining the bandwidth of the high-order frequency, thereby enabling reducing the high-order frequency to a desired value while ensuring the desired bandwidth. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
