<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for solidifying wood chips which can solidify wood converted into chips without using a binder and increase the total calorific value, a method for solidifying the wood chips, and the solidified wood chips. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus has a formation pipe 50 with steam vents formed on the periphery, a formation pipe heating device 10 for heating the formation pipe 50, a packing formation apparatus 11 for compressing waste wood chips inserted into the formation pipe 50 heated by the heating device 10 while twisting the chips, and a cold clamping device 12 for cooling the formation pipe 50 while the waste wood chips are compressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
