PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device for providing useful information on a route with appropriate timing. SOLUTION: This navigation device 1 searches for a route from a place of departure to a destination, designates time by using an input device 14, locates a position on the route to be reached at the designated time, retrieves restaurants existing on the periphery of the located position, and displays, on a monitor 16, the restaurants existing on the periphery of the located position together with a road map.
