PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well receive terrestrial digital broadcasting signals even if the terrestrial digital receiving signal is mixed with the analogue broadcasting signal whose signal level is not adjusted, relating to the terrestrial digital broadcasting receiver compatible with pass through. SOLUTION: The terrestrial digital broadcasting receiver which is compatible with pass through and can receive terrestrial digital broadcasting signals of UHF band and VHF band comprises a tuner part 101 that receives terrestrial digital broadcasting signals of UHF band and VHF band, a VHF filter 104 that is connected to the input side of the tuner part 101 and removes the reception signal of VHF band, a switching part 105 that switches the reception signals from an antenna 200, which receives broadcasting waves of UHF band and VHF band and outputs reception signal, to the tuner part 101 or a VHF filter 104, and a control part 103 for controlling the switching part.
