PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for letting CPUs send and receive data to and from each other without the intervention of a shared memory. SOLUTION: A multi-CPU system has two CPUs. Each of the two CPUs allocates the register or the RAM of the other CPU to its own memory space. Data are written into the area of the register or RAM of the other CPU allocated to its own memory space and are read from the area of the register or RAM of the other CPU allocated to its own memory space, so as to transfer the data.
