PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-resistant housing which can improve its water resistance by improving the strengths of its sheet metals. SOLUTION: By folding in the form of a crank each of ends 2d of water-resistant frames 2c, 3c formed in a cover top 2 and a cover bottom 3, each of the end portions 2d and each of water-resistant frames 1a formed in a cover main body 1 are so superimposed on each other as to align with each other each of the surfaces of the water-resistant frames 2c, 3c formed in the cover top 2 and the cover bottom 3 and each of the surfaces of the water-resistant frames 1a formed in the cover main body 1. Thereby, even though impulses are applied to the water-resistant frames 2c, 3c formed in the cover top 2 and the cover bottom 3, and to the water-resistant frames 1a formed in the cover main body 1; there is reduced remarkably the possibility of generating cracks in a bonding resin 7 whereby the frames 2c, 3c and the frames 1c are bonded to each other.
