PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking body or the like, which can walk as prettily as "Nokonoko" even on a flat surface. SOLUTION: The walking body has a body section 3, a pair of right/left legs 2 which are pivoted so that they can easily swing back and forth against the body section 3, a swinging body 4 pivoted so that it can easily swing in the longitudinal direction against the body section and a driving means 5 which makes the swinging body swing, and the bottom of the legs 2 is attached with a bottom leg section formed in a slope or a curve, which slopes back and forth and from side to side, the body section 3 is made to swing in the longitudinal direction according to rocking of the swinging body 4 by the driving means 5, the swing of the body section 3 makes the bottom leg section touching the earth float and makes the legs swing back and forth, and the swinging back and forth of the legs makes it progress.
