PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism protecting oil from contamination, retaining the freshness of the oil, and moving a work formed by processing a food material in an oil pot without providing a special device for discharging bits of fried food by constantly discharging the bits of the fried food during frying when frying food materials into deep-fried food, fried food or the like. SOLUTION: This continuous automatic fryer is provided with turning wheels in the both ends of an oil pot and a traction body is engaged across the turning wheels. This traction body faces to the bottom plate in the oil pot. The traction body is suspendingly engaged with skirts for pushing the work. The skirt simultaneously moves into a slide contact with the bottom plate to wipe the bits of the fried food accumulated in the bottom plate, retains them and drops them from an opening.
