<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zinc compound-formulated composition having reduced astringent taste derived from a zinc ion, facilitating administration, and hardly leaving unpleasant aftertaste. <P>SOLUTION: The zinc compound-formulated composition is obtained by formulating the zinc compound with carnitines. Preferably, the zinc compound-formulated composition is obtained by formulating one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of leucine, isoleucine, valine, aspartic acid, lysine, arginine, glycine, alanine and salts thereof besides them.
