PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female terminal improved in conductivity with a terminal pin and simply manufactured and assembled. SOLUTION: A female terminal 1 to electrically connected to a terminal pin 4 has a base member 2 and an elastic member 3. The base member 2 forms a contact part 12 for the terminal pin 4. The elastic member 3 has a second leg part 19 bent toward a first leg part 18 of the member 3 and protruded into a housing chamber 6 in a direction separating from an insertion opening 11.
