PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the leakage of lubricant in a fixing device using a belt member. SOLUTION: The fixing device, which fixes a toner image carried on paper P, comprises a turnable fixing roll 61, an endless belt 62 movable while being brought into contact with the fixing roll 61 and having an inner peripheral surface coated with the lubricant, a pressure pad 64 arranged to press the inner peripheral surface of the endless belt 62 and bringing the endless belt 62 into contact with the fixing roll 61, and a lubricant wiping member 85 wiping out the lubricant leaked from the inner peripheral surface of the endless belt 62.
