PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make assembly easy, to simply perform a connection work without damaging optical fiber fixing positions of an optical component and an optical module and to effectively utilize space on a base board. SOLUTION: When a plug 3 into which an optical fiber 1 forming a bent part is inserted is engaged with an adaptor 4 and a through hole member 5 into which an optical fiber 2 is inserted is fixed on the adaptor 4, the bent part of the optical fiber 1 in the plug 3 is extended like a straight line and shifted to the tip direction, so that the tip of the optical fiber 1 and the tip of the optical fiber 2 are abutted on each other to form optical connection.
