PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing photoreceptor drums by which the durability of drive members arranged in a drive member housing space can be enhanced while suppressing cost increase. SOLUTION: When supports 12 are dried, a pump is actuated to suck the air in a space 24 for an air passage through a duct 40 and to introduce fresh air from an opening 42 into the drive member housing space 26. An air flow A of the fresh air is produced in the drive member housing space 26, air flows B from the drive member housing space 26 toward the space 24 for the air passage are produced in a gap around each working rod 54, a gap around each tube 56, and a circular gap formed between the inner surface of the tube 56 and the outer surface of the working rod 54, and an air flow C toward the duct 40 is produced in the space 24 for the air passage.
