PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head mounted display, with which a user can appropriately observe an image, even if the mounting conditions are changed. SOLUTION: The head mounted display is provided with a display section which displays images, a detection means which at least conducts either the line of sight detection that detects whether the line of sight of the user is directed toward the display section or the vibration detection of the display section, and a changing means which changes the size of the image to be projected to the user, according to the detection result by the detection means.
