PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive dust monitor of high detection sensitivity capable of preventing a member, such as a grid for protecting a detection face of a radiation sensor of a radiation detector, and a filter paper support attached to support an under side of filter paper for preventing deflection of the filter paper, from bringing disturbance when detecting a radiation. SOLUTION: The grid 19 arranged opposedly to the filter paper 7, and for protecting the radiation detection face provided on the radiation detection face 4a of the radiation sensor 4 for measuring the radiation of dust captured by the filter paper 7, is arranged to overlap the filter paper support 18 attached to support the under side of the filter paper 7 for preventing the deflection of the filter paper 7, in planar positions thereof.
