PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a lock-in phenomenon generated in an optical interference type sensor and constitute the sensor at low cost. SOLUTION: The sensor comprises a light source 12, a light source control circuit 14 for controlling the temperature of the light source 12 and the supply current to the light source 12, a light distributor 18, an optical fiber coil 16, a phase modulator 20, a light receptor 22, a signal processing circuit 24, a phase modulation control circuit 26, and a power source 28. The power source 28 produces a constant voltage or a constant current for commonly supplying power to both of at least a part of the circuit of the light source control circuit 14 and at least a part of the circuit of the phase modulation control circuit 26. A filter 30 absorbing noise generated from the phase modulation control circuit 26 is provided, between the power source 28 and at least a part of circuit of the light source control circuit 14, or between the power source 28 and at least a part of circuit of phase modulation control circuit 26.
