PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank made of metal reducing a fuel which cannot be sucked up and capable of lengthening life. SOLUTION: The fuel tank 10 is provided with a tank body 20 made of metal; a pump unit 30; and a bead 61. The tank body 20 is provided with a tank upper 21 and tank lower 22. A tank side mounting part 29 of the tank body 20 is fastened to a vehicle body frame 11. The pump unit 30 is slide-expandably/contractably divided to a pump upper 31 and a pump lower 40. The pump upper 31 is penetrated through an upper upper wall 23 and is mounted. The pump lower 40 is urged to a downward direction by a coil spring 54 and a pump bottom part 40a is abutted on a lower lower wall 27. The bead 61 is molded in the projection shape in a plate thickness direction of the tank lower 22 and is penetrated through the neighborhood to the abutment part 27a and both ends are provided onto an edge of the lower lower wall 27 of the tank lower 22.
