PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for sorting delivery allowing reduction of the apparatus cost, miniaturization and improvement of the durability and eliminating the possibility of discharging accidentally articles to be carried within a carrying basket at the time of power failure. SOLUTION: The carrying basket 200 has an openable bottom lid 210 closed during carrying of the articles, and the bottom lid is opened by the swinging of the rotary solenoid arranged in the vicinity of the sorting shoot section so that the articles within the carrying basket are discharged into the sorting shoot section. A tipping-up lever 300 is fixed to the rotation shaft of the solenoid, swings and rises during a time of electrification of the solenoid to release the closed conditions of the bottom lid of the carrying basket and has a means of swings and falls naturally during a time without electrification.
