PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea leaf-treating apparatus having diffusing blades for circulating tea leaves more efficiently than conventional ones and taking-out blades for easily taking out all tea leaves. SOLUTION: This tea leaf heat-treating apparatus is composed of a rotary drum equipped with an opening for tea leaf through forming one end of a horizontally laid cylinder to a taper-like shape and also an opening for ventilation on the other end, a heating means of the rotary drum, and a driving means of the rotary drum. In the peripheral wall of the rotary drum, the diffusing blade is set on one end and on the other end, the diffusing blade is set on a position nearly 180°opposing the former diffusing blade.
