PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an artificial tree for insect spawning suitably usable as a substitute for a spawning tree, and to provide a method for producing the artificial tree. SOLUTION: The artificial tree 10 for insect spawning is obtained by mixing together tree sawdust and an inorganic binder such as rice bran followed by moderately hardening the mixture.
