The invention relates to an electrolyte membrane of a fuel cell, comprising a membrane made of a microporous material wherein the channels (11) contain a proton conducting material, characterized in that the proton conducting material is fixed by covalent bonds to the inner surface of the channels. The invention also relates to a method for the production of said membrane and to devices using said membrane.
