Vacuum nozzle has a compressed air channel (4) which terminates in a Venturi-type nozzle (13, 14). This connects with a gripper nozzle (16) via a suction zone (23) connected to a suction channel (6). The Venturi nozzle is made from an elastomer. An independent claim is included for a method for making the nozzle in which the Venturi section is made by injection molding over a mandrel.
