FIELD: liquid and gas handling facilities. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of transfer of liquid media, such as liquefied hydrocarbon gases and pumping units operating in gas systems. Proposed pumping unit contains cradle-mounted peripheral pump secured on flange of drive whose shaft sets into rotation working wheel of pump and housing of end face seal. Pump is furnished with second working wheel operating in parallel with first one. Both wheels are secured on housing of end face seal. ^ EFFECT: simplified design of pumping unit with increased overhaul live and capacity. ^ 2 dwg
