<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to carry out power generation operation at high durability and high current density with an effective use of precious metal catalyst for electrode reaction and without giving high surface pressure by clamping. <P>SOLUTION: A Pt-carrying carbon nanotube 31 is orientated on a fluorine system ion exchange ion membrane 11, a carbon nanotube 35 is orientated on a diffusion layer 17, and a catalyst layer 15 taking charge of battery reaction with the Pt-carrying carbon nanotube 31 and the carbon nanotube 35 is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
