<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel game machine improving a taste of a game by greatly changing a variable operation of a variable winning means such as a movable piece formed to be openable/closable. <P>SOLUTION: This pinball machine is provided with a detecting means detecting the passing of a game ball in a predetermined area provided in a game board, the variable winning means variably driven into a state of allowing the game ball to easily enter and a state of hardly allowing the game ball to enter at a predetermined opening/closing pattern based on the detection result, and a driving start delay means delaying a starting timing of the variable driving of the variable winning means at a predetermined delay time.
