<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester resin, easily being crystallized at the mouth part of a bottle by heating in a short time, also excellent in dimensional stability, and having less problems in the transparency and discoloration of a trunk part as a bottle produced, and a high productivity on molding. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester composition for the bottle is provided by securing the dimensional stability of the mouth part by using a polycondensation catalyst capable of regulating the crystallization temperature of the composition on elevating temperature (Tc1) within a range having less scattering, gives a high productivity on molding and also causes less problems in the transparency and discoloration as the bottle.
