IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE WITH MOVING MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device with a moving mechanism in which a smoothly moving natural image can be obtained when moving a camera even if a stepping motor is provided. SOLUTION: A camera 12 generates a captured image. A moving mechanism comprises a stepping motor 20 and moves the camera 12. An image processing section 42 cuts images for a display image out of frames of the captured image to generate the display image. A correction value calculation section 50 supplies a correction value of a trimming position to the image processing section 42 to adjust the trimming position. The correction value calculation section 50 adjusts the trimming position of each frame of the captured image that intermittently moves in response to the stepping action of the stepping motor 20, and makes the image processing section 42 generate a continuously moving display image.
