PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ear pad of a headphone having a reversible specification which can use the rear surface of a pad body as a front surface by reversing a flange retaining cloth connected to the annular pad body. SOLUTION: The ear pad 41 of the headphone 31 includes a pad body 49 of a substantially ring shape, and a flange presser cloth 53 having a flange engaging gap 51 formed to engage flanges 43 of headphone housings 33, 34 between the pad body 49 and the flange presser cloth 53. The outer shell shape of the pad body 49 is made into a structure symmetrical with a reference plane 55 along the radial direction. The flange presser cloth 53 is bonded at a base end to an intersecting member 57 with the reference plane 55 of the outer peripheral part of the pad body 49. The configuration is made into a reversible specification which can form the flange engaging gap 51 at any of the front and rear of the pad body 49 by reversing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
