PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system capable of achieving radio communication by the processing of an access point side and managing the radio communication. SOLUTION: In a radio LAN environment established by an access point 20 and a plurality of terminals and ensuring predetermined security for radio communication between the access point 20 and each of the terminals, one terminal transmits a predetermined instruction signal indicating that an encryption key is delivered to the terminal and other terminals to the access point 20. The access point 20 generates an inter-terminal dedicated encryption key on the basis of the instruction signal, and transmits the encryption key data to the one terminal and the other terminals. As this result, the inter-terminal dedicated encryption key generated by the access point 20 is set in each of the terminals, so that security in radio communication is ensured in an ad hoc transition period and various statuses of the radio communication can be managed and monitored by the access point 20 side.
