PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a hybrid navigation type navigation device, capable of being reloaded on a different car, learn efficiently. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an autonomous position detection means for calculating the present position, based on detection results from a distance detection means and a traveling direction detection means; a GPS position detecting means for receiving a radio wave from a GPS satellite and calculating the present position; a correction value calculating means for calculating the correction value used for correction at the present position calculating time in an autonomous position detecting part, based on an error between the present position calculated by the GPS position detecting means and the present position calculated by the autonomous position detecting part, a plurality of storage means for storing the correction value calculated by the correction value calculating means, a determination means for determining whether the navigation device has been loaded on a different vehicle; and a control means for switching the storage means to another storage means, when determined by the determination means that the navigation device has been loaded on the different vehicle.
