PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a waiting time until a time-out. SOLUTION: In this communication system 1, an electronic device 10, an electronic device 20 and an electronic device 30 each having a server function are connected with a terminal 40 as a client via a network 50. When power is turned on or when a server to be connected is lost by a change of a state of the network 50, the terminal 40 transmits connection confirmation for confirming the connected server to the network 50 by multicast, and classifies the server once performed with communication by the initial connection confirmation and a response time thereof by identification information about the server to store them in a time-out storage part 45.
