PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a waveform display unit which can easily distinguish whether compressive presentation of waveform data is displayed on a cursor. SOLUTION: This unit is an improved waveform display unit which displays a cursor for waveform analysis, indicating waveform data which is measured from measured waveforms as waveform at an indicating section. This unit is provided with an icon display means for displaying icons which distinguish whether compressive presentation of the waveform data is given in the direction of time series to indicate on the indicating section.
