PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice-making compartment for improving corrosion-resistant performance by suppressing film failure and preventing the contamination of a lump of ice by surplus attachment and corrosive products, by performing assembly after forming the film at each of members, such as an ice-making substrate and a partition board for composing the ice-making compartment in advance, and to provide a method for manufacturing the ice-making compartment. SOLUTION: In a welding process, a steam generating tube 22 is welded to the ice-making substrate 14 before assembling the partition board 16 to the ice-making substrate 14 in a welding process. Then, a film 50 made of a synthetic resin is formed over the entire surface of the ice-making substrate 14 in which the steam generating tube 22 is arranged in the coating process and each of a horizontal plate and a vertical plate in the partition board 16. Then, the ice-making substrate 14 in which a resin film 50 is formed and the partition board 16 made of each plate are assembled in an assembly process, thus composing the ice-making compartment in which a plurality of small ice-making compartments 18 are demarcated.
