PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt fastener and a bolt fastening method which can curb the reduction in a bolt fastening force under high-temperature environment by an easier and cheaper structure. SOLUTION: The first member 3 to be fastened and the second member 1 to be fastened are constructed from a casting magnesium alloy and the parent material of a washer 18 is constructed from a wrought aluminum alloy. The parent material constructed from a wrought aluminum alloy is exposed on the under surface of the washer 18 which contacts the first member 3 to be fastened and an anodic oxide film 19 of the parent material is formed on the top surface of the washer 18 which contacts a bolt head 14. When fastening is carried out by a bolt 4, the aluminum alloy constructing the parent material is plastically deformed so that a hike portion 13 of the first member to be fastened 3 is filled with a part of the parent material to cause the under surface of the washer 18 to contact with the top surface 8 of the first member 3 to be fastened.
