PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a foundation reducing a construction cost of a skeleton and shortening a construction period by reducing the amount of underground excavation and the amount of soil to be carried out to the outside. SOLUTION: Soil improvement is carried out, and improved soil 3 is excavated to form concrete placing parts 8, 9 using the excavated face of the improved soil 3 as a form. Reinforcements 11, 12 are arranged at the concrete placing parts 8, 9, and then concrete is placed in the concrete placing parts 8, 9. A cement-based solidifying material is used in soil improvement, and the method includes a process for measuring the bearing capacity of soil after excavating the improved soil 3.
