Gas discharge lamp has conductors (11) which are bound to the envelope (23) by a glass (15) with a linear coefficient of expansion alpha (20[deg], 300[deg]) of 3.5 - 3.9(10-6>/K). The envelope in the area (20) surrounding it has a coefficient of 2.9 - 3.5(1016>/K).
