PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach to a sealed document a proper text character showing the content thereof to be useful for database retrieval.

SOLUTION: The sealed document preparation system for fetching an electronic document to prepare an electrically sealed document comprises a template preparation means preparing or editing a pattern or text containing a seal frame for sealed document to form a template containing it; an electronic document pseudo-printing means outputting print output of an electronic document prepared by a document preparation device in a format fetchable to the sealed document preparation system; a document combination means combining output of the electronic document outputted by the electronic document pseudo-printing means with the template; a character extraction frame setting means setting a character extraction frame for extracting a text character in a part of the electronic document; and a CSV conversion means CSV-converting the character extracted by the character extraction frame setting means. The extracted text character is attached to the file obtained by superposing the electronic document with the template.
