<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetation float island obtained by utilizing waste tires in view of recycle of products, having a plateau on which aquatic plants are planted on a surrounding vegetation area, and matching the surrounding scenery. <P>SOLUTION: This vegetation float island is structured by the following process: fixedly placing float island structures obtained by connecting a plurality of float island units 2 where a foaming buoyant body 12 is formed around each of the waste tires 10 so as to form a prescribed peripheral part, in an installation water area; admixing air-bubble cement paste, liquid glass and bentonite together at a prescribed formulation; supplying the unsolidified mixture to a closing-water area 7 partitioned with the peripheral part comprising the float island structure; and placing the mixture followed by immediately setting the mixture so as to structure a float artificial ground 4 comprising the plateau 3 having a specific gravity smaller than 1.0 at the closing-water area 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
