<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visually impaired person guide system for safely and appropriately guiding a visually impaired person from a prescribed guide start spot to a desired guide target spot selected by the visually impaired person with a drastically inexpensive configuration, and to provide a visually impaired person guide device. <P>SOLUTION: A guide line in prescribed color is drawn on a passable route between the prescribed guide start spot to the desired guide target spot. The visually impaired person carries the visually impaired person guide device which includes a color identifying means for selectively identifying the prescribed color of the guide line, and progresses along the guide line with the prescribed color, while selectively identifying the guide line in the prescribed color with the use of the visually impaired person guide device.
