<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice-processing device for processing a digital voice signal, without requiring a circuit of complicated configuration or a memory region of a large capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The voice processing device converts digital voice data, by using a distortion conversion table 18 storing output data corresponding to a plurality of representative points. Concerning input PCM data 101 of input p bits, the two output data, corresponding to the nearest representative point to the input PCM data 101 are acquired, by acquiring an high order q-bit value and referring the distortion conversion table 18, on the basis of the value. The output data corresponding to the input PCM data 101 are obtained, by carrying out interpolation calculation processing, on the basis of the two acquired output data and a lower r-bit value of the input PCM data 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
