COMPONENT ATTACHING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the speed of the attachment of a component drastically faster and achieve a better processing cycle time by reducing operating time for suction nozzle replacement to a minimum with the structure of a head kept small and simple.

SOLUTION: A component transfer head 37 is provided for allowing an electronic component supplied by a component supply unit 35 to be suctioned by a suction nozzle and attached to a circuit substrate 15. The component transfer head 37 is constituted by a first head unit and a second head unit each comprising a revolver type sub head 67. In the revolver type sub head 67, a nozzle unit is circularly provided for the attachment of the suction nozzle. The revolver type sub head is supported such that it can be rotated upon an axis along the direction of the arrangement of a component supply position 33 in the component supply unit 35.
