摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core for a rotary electric machine in which an insulating sheet can be fixed into a slot of the core for the rotary electric machine without floating from the inner surface of the slot, and a winding can be applied with no risk of causing poor insulation. SOLUTION: A flat-type winding 17 is set in the slot 15 of a stator core 11 through an insulating sheet 18 formed while being bent to copy the inner surface profile of the slot 15. An engaging groove 20 is formed on the inner side face 19a, out of the inner surface 19 of the slot 15, where a protrusion 14 does not protrude from the forward end of teeth 13 at a position close to an opening 16. Since the forward end 21a of a bend piece 21 formed such that the forward end 21a points to the opening 16 engages with the engaging groove 20 and is held in place, an insulating sheet 18 fixed in the slot 15 can be prevented from floating above the inner surface 19 of the slot 15.
