PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage appliance such as a heating cooker that eliminates a sense of incongruity when a movable receiver such as a pan is moved in or out by improving the sliding motion of the movable receiver. SOLUTION: Spacers 16 are disposed in part of the bottom of a storage chamber 10 to reduce sliding frictional force between the bottom of the movable receiver 12 and the storage chamber 10, and lower faces of rails 13 followed by the movable receiver 12 are formed with sliding members 23 for reducing sliding frictional force between the movable receiver 12 and the rails 13. The spacers 16 and sliding members 23 significantly reduce the friction of major parts in contact with the storage chamber 10, when the movable receiver 12 is slid, to thereby improve the sliding motion and enable handling free of a sense of incongruity.
