PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain guide mounting system capable of improving the strength of a chain guide. SOLUTION: This chain guide mounting system has a mounting face having bolt holes 44, 45, a plurality of bolts respectively having a bolt screw part complemented to the bolt hole and a bolt shaft part extended from the bolt screw part, mountable in the bolt holes in a state that the closest edge parts of the bolt shaft parts in being mounted in the bolt holes are separated from each other by a first distance 48, and bolt grooves 42', 43' receiving the bolts. The chain guide is mounted on the mounting face through the bolts inserted into the bolt grooves, the closest edge parts of the bolt grooves are separated by a second distance 49 when the chain bolt is mounted on the mounting face, and the first distance 48 is equal to the second distance 49 or slightly shorter than the second distance, so that the bolt shaft parts are kept into contact with the closest edge parts of the bolt grooves.
